Download's Over. Now What?


Download Festival is over for another year, so you know what that means? We've got a bajillion rock and metal tours that we can FINALLY tell y'all about!

So if you missed out on the fun at Donington, or if you're just after your next mosh fix, get your teeth stuck into these...

WHO? The undisputed pioneers of heavy metal, Black Sabbath
WHAT? Over the Download weekend, they announced details of their final leg of #TheEnd tour, which will see Ozzy, Geezer and Tony coming home. Literally
WHEN? Kicking off at Manchester Arena on 22nd January 2017, The End tour will stop off at Glasgow, Leeds and London, before their final, final, last-ever two shows at Birmingham's Genting Arena.
TICKETS? #LNpresale tickets will be available at 9am THIS THURSDAY. Tickets will then go on general sale 9am Friday. These won't last long, so don't say we didn't warn you...

WHO? Movie-loving smooth criminals Alien Ant Farm
WHAT? To celebrate its 15-year anniversary, the Cali four-piece will tour their debut album 'ANThology' in full later this year.
WHEN? We've got them at London's O2 Academy Islington on October 31st, but there are regional dates, too.
TICKETS? Tickets for the London date will be available on #LNpresale from 10am Thursday. After that, they'll be on general sale from 10am Friday.

WHO? Swedish rock 'n' roll types Royal Republic
WHAT? We'll have 'em over in October to support their latest album 'Weekend Man'.
WHEN? Catch them at London's Garage on 7th October, and Manchester's Sound Control on 11th October.
TICKETS? You know the score: #LNpresale from Thursday morning, general sale from Friday.

WHO? Aggressive Ohio types Beartooth
WHAT? After flattening Download's main arena early doors on Saturday, we'll have the lads back over for a full headline tour before Christmas. They'll be bringing Vanna and Fit For A King with them too.
WHEN? Kicking off at London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire 8th December, they'll be hitting nine UK cities across the run. 
TICKETS? These ones go on #LNpresale TOMORROW at 10am. After that, it's general sale on Wednesday.

WHO? Legendary Swedish death metallers Amon Amarth
WHAT? Following their blistering Download appearance, they'll be back in the UK for a handful of dates in October/November.
WHEN? Kicking off at Manchester's Academy on 31st October, in November they'll hit Glasgow (1st), London (4th) and Birmingham (5th).
TICKETS? We've #LNpresale tickets for London, Birmingham and Manchester TOMORROW at 10am, with general sale for all dates on Wednesday.

WHO? East Texas' rootin-tootin rock 'n' rollers Whiskey Myers
WHAT? With a new album out later this year, they'll bring their Southern vibes back ahead of Christmas.
WHEN? Landing at London's Dome on 1st December, they'll stop at Birmingham's O2 Institute3 (2nd), Manchester's Ruby Lounge (5th) and Glasgow's King Tuts (6th).
TICKETS? All dates go on #LNpresale from Thursday morning, with general sale starting Friday.

WHO? The part-theatre, part-rock show alternative opera Gutterdämmerung
WHAT? Following its huge initial success, we'll be taking it out regionally across the country.
WHEN? The production lands at Birmingham's O2 Academy on September 18th, before hitting Manchester (19th), Glasgow's O2 Academy (20th) and London's O2 Academy Brixton on 22nd September.
TICKETS? Grab your #LNpresale tickets from Thursday. Alternatively, general sale kicks off 9am Friday.

WHO? Australian mosh types The Amity Affliction
WHAT? Their new album 'This Could Be Heartbreak' lands in the summer, so they'll be popping back over for a visit in the winter months.
WHEN? Arriving at Bristol's O2 Academy on 4th December, they'll stop off at Manchester, London and Glasgow, before the final show at Birmingham's O2 Institute on December 9th.
TICKETS? #LNpresale for all dates (Except Glasgow) kicks off Thursday morning, with general sale Friday.
